This Monday, LJIS had a special event- that was the English reading competition. 20 students signed up the challenge to participate the contest. The judges were three English teachers and Tr. Ben. Some of the students had never attended the contest but collected their courage to give it a try. It doesn’t have to be perfect, the attitude matters!

After the competition, Tr. Sophie, Ben and Verona, made some useful feedback about their performance for the students. We all admired their efforts and hard work in the competition.

Principal Huang encouraged all the participants to enhance their public speaking and appreciated their willing to try for this competition. Thanks to all the teachers, they are dedicated to their work and take good cares of the students. Students in LJIS are growing more mature and confident with each challenge they take.

本週一，LJIS舉行了一場特別活動：英語朗讀競賽。本次共有二十名學生報名挑戰，評委是學校三名英語教師，和外籍老師Ben。在參加者當中，有些人從未參加比賽，但還是鼓起勇氣，進行嘗試！比賽過程雖不一定完美，但他們知道，掌握正確的學習態度是最重要的。

比賽結束以後，Sophie老師、Ben老師和Verona老師，也針對學生的表現，提供有用的回饋。教師團隊都很讚賞學生在比賽中的努力。

黃校長鼓勵所有的參賽者加強演說能力，肯定他們參加比賽的勇氣，也感謝老師們辛勤工作，把學生都照顧得很好。

希望LJIS的孩子，能透過一次又一次的挑戰，變得成熟堅韌，且對自己充滿信心！
