On the afternoon of Friday, March sixth, the school hosted a science competition on campus, many students actively participated in it.
The competition was announced as early as the end of last semester. The top two teams in the school can represent Lujiang to take part in the competition held by Changhua County Government. This competition consists two events.
- Rolling out!
Assemble the pearl plate into a ramp, and use bamboo sticks, clay, and tape to make props that will roll on the ramp
One group needs to make two props:
- Faster: the length of the slope can only be 30 cm, the faster the better.
- The slower: the length of the ramp is unlimited, the slower the better
- Flying gyroscope
Made of flying tops with pot bottle and tape
(1) Alignment: Stand behind the lines at different distances and throw the gyro into the hula hoop. The farther the line, the higher the score.
(2) Far: the farther you throw the flying top, the higher the score
Several times of testing is required to see if they succeeded making a best product.
The students wanted to make sure that they score high in both of the games so as to represent the school to join the countywide competition.
在3/6禮拜五下午，學校舉辦校內科學Home run 競賽。許多同學踴躍參加，這項上學期末就公布的比賽！全校前兩名的隊伍，可代表鹿江參加縣賽。
1、滾下去吧！
學生必須將珍珠板組裝成坡道，再以竹籤、黏土、絕緣膠帶製作在坡道上滾動的道具，每個隊伍需要製作兩組。
(1)比快：坡道限制30公分，越快越好
(2)比慢：坡道長度不限，越慢越好
2、飛行陀螺
用寶特瓶及絕緣膠帶製作飛行陀螺。
(1)比準：參賽者站在不同距離的白線後方，將陀螺丟進呼拉圈，從越遠的線丟進目標，分數越高。
(2)比遠：將飛行陀螺丟的越遠則越高分。
這場比賽需要一次又一次的測試；有些同學從寒假開始便做了許多練習，致勝關鍵在每個項目的得分都要平均。例如：有一支隊伍在「滾下去吧！」這個比賽項目取得第一名，但飛行陀螺拿到的分數過少，導致積分大減，失去成為學校代表的機會。
